Wrestling with superheroes

As exemplified by Episode #4 of CE4K (please check the episode out below), Dan, Tee-J and Imran are committed to the acceptance of pro-wrestling as a part of geek culture - it's got everything that comic book fans, gamers and action movie fans love: heroes vs villains, good vs evil, incomparable action, passion, incredible characters, detailed and long-term storytelling...  And to prove the point, we've plucked three names from the WWE that are perhaps familiar to everyone (fan or not) and have presented their actual character bios in a geek-relatable way...

JOHN CENA
From a young age, John Cena was raised with a singular purpose and a singular goal... to fight for, defend and protect the hallowed ground of American soil.  Abiding by his mantra of "Hustle Loyalty Respect", John Cena fights for all from the young children that look up to him to the working man he fights beside.  Although boasting incredible super strength, he boasts no larger muscle than the one that beats within his chest as it pumps the red, white and blue through his veins.  His passion is unwavering, his aim is uncompromising and he will fight until his last breath to defend all he holds dear.

UNDERTAKER
Known by some as The Grim Reaper, others as The Phenom, but by all, known as The Dead Man.  The Undertaker will come for those who have wronged in their lives - he is the conscience, he is the man shrouded in darkness that spreads the light.  Drawing his ancient and mythical power from the mysterious urn, The Undertaker collects the souls from the sinners, making right what they have made wrong.

VINCE MCMAHON
The megalomaniac billionaire businessman with an unquenchable desire for control and power.  Vince McMahon's deception is masked through his considerable charitable and philanthropic work while all the while seeking to crush his enemies that see through his facade.  Mr McMahon's arrogance lays in those he sees as attempting to rise above his rule - he is the corporation, he is the authority, he is the man in the high castle - his word is the law and many have learnt that it has proved better to conform to his way or else feel his wrath.

Wrestling is my favorite thing to do. Ever since I was a kid, I have always admired the wrestlers that I watch on television. Believe me, Wrestling is like one of the most interesting things in the entire world. I am already so happy with what I am able to do, but wrestling just makes it interesting. I hope that I can go and make this my professional job from now on, I really want that to happen for me.
